I looked at it for several moments before realizing it was Labrador. The land was covered in layers of ice and snow. As I looked down at the landscape a harpoon came soaring out of the east and implanted itself in the heart of Labrador. The shaft had bindings around the top attaching the shaft to what looked like a thin brown leather tether that extended through the sky and disappeared from view far to the east. This was a John 3:16 harpoon – “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever will believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
As I watched, a couple of people laid hold of the harpoon in earnest faith. As they did, a layer of glassy ice covering the entire land shattered into millions of pieces and slid into the ocean. In the centre of Labrador, an opening in the ground appeared, revealing a shriveled, shrunken, dried out heart that had been patched and stitched in many places. As I gazed at this dried out heart, two or three tears, glistening like diamonds, fell from heaven onto this heart. Miraculously, the heart began to soften, turn pink, and begin to beat. Thump-thump, thump-thump,-thump-thump. This in turn had a great effect on the people. Those who responded to the love of God developed huge hearts that filled their entire torso. These hearts beat in time and tune with the Fathers heart. Many began to leave the shores while others remained. Those leaving Labrador were consumed with taking this message of Gods great love wherever He would lead.
This is good news for Labrador! The love of God is piercing this land, breaking through what has become hard and cold. When the love of God dies, the enemy promotes a corrupted “love” that devastates everything it touches. And the cycle continues. BUT GOD. The love of the Father will flourish in Labrador, bringing its peoples into the redemptive purpose and abundant life for which they were created.
Let’s keep praying and laying hold of the Love of God for Labrador.
